Today Is The Day!

Sometimes we get stuck. And lately that's been the case for me.

I wanted to share what's been going on in my life right now.

The good and the bad.

For a few weeks, I was on a roll creating opportunities for me.

Just this past weekend, I moderated a town hall forum at a local "Celebration of Awakening" for World Peace Day. Last week, I locked in my first "Inspirational Movie Night" which I'll be hosting once a month at a local Buddhist temple. And I completed my last training session to be a tour director for a local company which takes people on day trips around Southern California.

Despite all of that, fear and overwhelm have been trying to hijack my thoughts again.

The overwhelm is due to the fact that I'm not moving forward as fast as I've wanted on a personal project I had hoped to accomplish by now. A project that would create some income. Much needed income since the mortgage will soon be due in a few weeks.

I'm committed though to not letting fear, scarcity and overwhelm run my show.

So, I woke up early on this day and went to the gym. Came home, drank my first two glasses of water and then cooked up a good breakfast to help feed my muscles and the rest of my mind and body.

Then, I sat down to begin listening to my positive music and affirmations to get warmed up for the work ahead. I took a few deep breaths and when I opened my eyes, something pulled my attention to a corner wall in my kitchen where a framed quote hangs. It reads:

Live Your Dreams. Do what you love. Cherish every moment. Be brave. Take Risks. Create your own happiness. Have an open mind and heart. Make a real difference. Never give up. Dream Big. Be Fearless. Make every moment count. Today is the Day!

That's just what I needed!

I wouldn't have noticed it had I allowed negative emotions to take over my thoughts.

So, as you go about your day today, be on the lookout for the positive signs that remind you of your personal power.

They're all around us, but in the rush of the day-to-day grind, we overlook them.

There will be times when you may feel overwhelm, weak, sluggish, uninspired and defeated. But don't worry. Don't let it weigh you down.

Focus on taking care of your mind and body and the signs, answers, guidance that you need will show up in your life.

Keep practicing and each time you encounter challenges, you'll be able to get over the bumps along the way much faster.
